Our client is looking for 1 contractor who is strong with java skills and
web services knowledge. Grails knowledge is required. Hands-on developer,coder and design work.

Complete Description:
Practitioners of the IT Application Development profession primarily focus
on providing high quality, cost effective information technology solutions
to business partners by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing
software applications.
Associates are expected to design, code, analyze, configure, unit test, and
maintain applications.
Top-level technical expert in one or more highly specialized phases of
applications programming.
Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Devises or modifies
procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and
documentation.
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming.

Skill Required
Web Development - J2EE/Grails
Grails Experience
Above average skills in J2EE, MVC (Struts), JDBC, JSP, relational databases
Above average skills in SQL, XML, Hibernate, Spring, jQuery
Must have solid object-oriented development experience
Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse or IBM RAD
Experience working on a development team of 3 or more developers
