Job Description:
Oracle data warehouse DBA:
Very large databases (VLDB) - Oracle DBA partitioning skills. Decision support systems (DSS) - Materialized view DBA setup and Oracle Discoverer administration. Online analytical processing (OLAP) - Star schema design and DBA administration.
In addition, Oracle data warehouse DBA's require skills in Business Intelligence tools management for products such as Oracle OBIEE, Oracle warehouse builder (OWB) and Oracle Data Mining (ODM).
Oracle PL/SQL (advanced)
Oracle 10G/11G - backup/restore
Data Warehouse skills (Design and Architect)
Developing ETL code
Creating Tables / Indexes
Designing and Creating Physical Data Model
Creating Star and Snowflake schemas models
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or related
